Medical charity ride cyclist run down

She was cycling in support of Action Medical Research – and she ended up in hospital.

A female cyclist has been left with serious injuries after a crash during a marathon charity ride. The woman, in her 40s, was taking part in the 100-mile challenge on Sunday when she collided with a car in Cobham.

She suffered severe head, leg and face injuries after the smash with a Vauxhall Zafira in Halfpence Lane.
