Memorial ride for Emma

More on next Saturday’s memorial ride for María Emma García Fernández

The start time has been put back to 6 pm.

Start at the stone circle (southbank) 6pm
Route through central London including accident spot in Holborn
Finish at stone circle approximately 8-8:30pm

Apparently the BBC are making a TV documentary on cycling fatalities and will be filming this ride. (Let’s hope these BBC journalists will investigate why their colleagues on BBC London News ignored and continue to ignore every lorry-cyclist fatality in the capital in 2008 and 2009, including not just Emma’s but also Catriona Cockburn’s.)

As far as I can tell, the London Cycling Campaign is doing nothing to support, promote or publicise this ride. Which is a great pity.
